I Wish You A Merry Quilt Along Block Seven Plus Prizes

Here are some of the sponsors for the BIG prize that you can win at the end of the quilt along.

I Wish You A Merry Quilt Along Block Seven Plus Prizes

And now for block 7.

This block is designed by Sandy Maxfield of Sandy Star Designs.

Fabric selection for this block.

I chose bright greens and reds for this block.

Here is my version of the block

Quilting the block

I started with stitch in the ditch along all the seams.

Then with the leave, started a 1/4 inch along one edge and just went around in circle until I hit the center.

Applique stitch the little yellow circle. And you have the final product.

The Hosts for the Quilt Along

Please go and have a look at all the hosts posts today. Each of the host will be making all the blocks throughout the Quilt Along and will be providing tips and hints to help you along they way. Plus they will help answer any questions you may have. And it will be awesome to see all the different fabric that is being used by every host, to help you make a decision for your own.

  2. I saw your note about the hurricane too. . I live in a vacuum…I didn’t even know there was another hurricane hitting the U.S. Stay safe. Great version of this block. Great quilting ideas on it.

  3. Vanda, this is another great version. Saw your note about the hurricane – thinking of you and yours as you weather this storm.
