Dragon Quilt Adventure February 24, 2017 Dragon Quilt Adventure Hey everyone, In January I mentioned I was working on the Dragons, and I am finally finished. And my brother has received his dragon quilt, bonus he is very happy with it. Here is a picture of all the dragons separately. I just love all these dragons, they were such fun to sew. They are all 12″ patterns and paper pieced. Here is the finished quilt, just before I gave it to my brother, the photo obviously needs lots of improvement. I did some pebbling on the dragon’s skin, and straight line stitching. The background is a small meander. I used marble fabric for the sashing and pebble fabric for the binding strips. To attach all the blocks. The center panels was quilted separate to the borders. So it was semi quilt as you go. All these patterns is designed by Michelle Thompson from misha29 are available for free. Plus they are also available on the Fandom In Stitches. And with this finished quilt I completed UFO #1. Whoohoo. Now on to the next adventure. You can find me on Facebook and Instagram *** Hope everyone has a wonderful crafty week, see you next time.
