Fall Into A Quilt Along Block One

Fall Into A Quilt Along Block One

Welcome everyone to Block 1 for the Fall Into A QAL.

Without further ado, here is block 1. A hedgehog, I just could not resist making one of these little critters. I love them. You see where I live in South Africa it is fall or autumn right now. So I am so happy to be working on a Fall quilt with all of you.

For the hedgehog I decided to design an applique pattern. It is super simple and easy to make.

Full instructions is in the pattern that you will download.

You can download the pattern here. Plus clicking on the picture above will take you to the download page as well.

My block, has not been stitched down yet. As I am planning to quilt as you go for this quilt. The same as I did last year.

Remember to come back and visit next week Tuesday, where I will show you how I quilt this block.

This is such a cute little hedgehog! His face is so friendly – he would be perfect on a baby quilt, too. I wonder if you gave him a name? I’m calling him Harvey the hedgehog until I hear his proper name. ~smile~ Roseanne
