A quick and easy block.
Today I share a finished block of Majestic Lions. This block is a free pattern on Fandom in Stitches.
Jennifer Ofenstein posted for help, asking for sewn blocks of the Broadway Lion for a quilt she is making for a young man moving into his own apartment.
I was more than happy to help, the block is very quick and easy to make. And I had fun making him.
Mine went of in the post this morning and hopefully will reach her in about 2 weeks.
What else have been up to?
I finished off a commissioned quilt for a lady, it took 4 weeks, from piecing the quilt top to quilting it on my domestic machine, this took longer than it did piecing the pattern together. There is a lot of straight line stitching on the quilting.
The original quilt looked like this
You can find this pattern on
And some secret sewing for Fantastic Beasts 2, Christmas Caroling Row Along and 2 other events not finalized yet.
Some more plans in action with Jennifer Ofenstein for next year, watch this space!
And my latest TTMT video where I talk about all this and more.
Have a happy crafty week.

Wow, Vanda, that lion is really cool. I like the colors in the commissioned quilt too. You’ve been busy!
Thank you Wendy, love the Lion, he came out so cool. I love being busy with quilting. Ever since I discovered I love quilting, I haven’t stopped for a second.
