The is the newest pattern made for a request.

The lady, Jo, is making a Harry Potter quilt for her son, and wanted this faceted Philosophers Stone, to add to the patterns.

The pattern is 10 inches finished, and paper pieced.

The patterns are colored, to make it easier to sew the pattern.

You can see from Jo’s block, that she chose to make the bottom a book, but this can be left as the background as well.

This is an ongoing project hosted by Fandom in Stitches

The original quilt along happened in 2011 and revitalized in 2015, and there is still people joining  up to today, starting from the first block. So it seams to be a never ending  quilt along.

This faceted stone will be published on Fandom in Stitches in the next couple of week, date to be announced.

For more fantastic patterns based on Harry Potter and much more visit Fandom in Stitches.

Voldemort: Harry Potter. We meet again.

Harry: Voldemort?

Voldemort: Yes. You see what I’ve become? See what I must do to survive? Live off another, a mere parasite! Unicorn blood can sustain me, but it cannot give me a body of my own. But there is something that can; something that, conveniently enough, lies in your pocket!

Till next time.

2015 Quilt and Sewing to do list

Inspiration hit me, after reading Jennifer Ofenstein’s UFO to do list for 2015 over at sewhooked.com.

I have so many unfinished quilts lying around, that I forgot about or didn’t have time for. I decided to make my own UFO (unfinished object) list for 2015, that I need to work on.

Some of the objects are USO (Un-started Objects) or WIP (Work in progress), BOM (block of the month) FIS (Fandom in Stitches)

I was quite shocked when I realized how many projects I had lying around waiting to be finished. Here the are, no. 1 is priority number 1, the rest is just in random order. I have also added links to some of the projects, if anyone is interested in joining in.
